HVRC Trainer Certificate in Resilience and Well-Being
This comprehensive program prepares participants to become resilience and well-being trainers by providing a full range of tools which can be adapted to suit their audiences. This course combines the Resilience for Trainers, Vitality and Well-Being for Trainers, Brain Fitness for Resilience and Well-Being, and Resilience and Well-Being for Leaders programs. The course provides participants with extensive information in the science of resilience, vitality and well-being, exercises to develop these capacities, and practical applications of this knowledge. This program also explores how to incorporate trauma-sensitive techniques in resilience and well-being training.
Resilience for Trainers
At HVRC, we define resilience not only as the ability to “bounce back” from an adversity, but the capacity to actually prepare for life’s challenges in advance. Our program helps participants develop the inner resources of resilience which can be called upon when needed. This course explores the science of human resilience, and participants will engage in resilience-building exercises and understand their practical applications for training others to build their own resilience. Participants will also be introduced to the HeartMath Resilience Advantage Program TM.
Vitality and Well-Being for Trainers
Explore how to create a life of vitality and overall well-being in this program, which investigates the extensive science of well-being, engages in experiential exercises to help develop vitality and well-being, and discusses practical applications. The physical and emotional benefits as well as the challenges to vitality and well-being are examined. Participants learn how to generate and build positive emotions, including hope and realistic optimism. Means of achieving greater vitality and well-being through practices such as mindfulness, meditation, brain training and the arts are reviewed.
